A Wine Tour to Excellence
2016 Grand Gold Medal for Caipirinha & International Recognition for Capricornius:
In a remarkable start to their award-winning journey, El Cielo’s Caipirinha was awarded the Grand Gold Medal at the prestigious Mexico Selection of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2016. This recognition set the stage for El Cielo’s reputation as a producer of fine wines.
El Cielo’s Capricornius 2013 wine was internationally recognized this same year, winning its first medal at the Concours.
2018 Beijing Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Medals & Mexico Selection Awards:
El Cielo reached a milestone in 2018 at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in Beijing, where it received the highest number of medals, including a coveted international gold for its Eclipse 2015 wine, along with three silver medals.
In the same year, the winery continued its medal-winning streak at the Mexico Selection, taking home three Grand Gold, three Gold, and three Silver medals.
2019 Grand Gold Medal and International Revelation Wine for Caipirinha:
The personalized wine Caipirinha 2016 received extraordinary acclaim in 2019 with the Grand Gold Medal and being named International Revelation Wine at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, further establishing El Cielo as a leader in wine innovation.
2022 Grand Gold Medal for Hypathia:
Hypathia 2018 sparkling wine won the Grand Gold Medal at the 2022 Mexico Selection, celebrating El Cielo’s foray into sparkling wines and its mastery of the traditional French winemaking method.
2023 World Revelation Wine for Cenzontle:
Last but not least, in 2023, El Cielo’s winemaking prowess was once again on display. Their Cenzontle 2019 was awarded the Grand Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and was crowned World Revelation Wine.
